About Rosemary Chubinski

"I knew at a very young age that animals would be a very important part of my life. I had dreams of becoming a veterinarian but soon realized that was not possible. Then I discovered dog grooming and knew instantly that this was what I wanted to do. 

 I attended grooming school in Covina California in 1969 and was hired right out of the school. I spent the next four years building my skills. Just before moving to Arizona in 1973 I was living and working in Hollywood where I groomed the dogs of some very famous people, including Zsa Zsa Gabor, Ertha Kitt, Rock Hudson and Brenda Vaccaro.
 

I moved to Strawberry Arizona to be closer to my family. It was there that I started my own business. At that time, there weren't many dogs in the area to be groomed. I moved to Payson in 1979 and opened this shop, and I'm still here in the same location."
